CANopen Fieldbus system
What is CANopen?
CANopen is an open fieldbus standard based on CAN which is used mainly in automation technology. CANopen enables communication between devices made by different manufacturers without any special interface adaptations.
CANopen ASi Gateways
CANopen ASi-3 gateways in stainless steel provide an interface for a CANopen fieldbus. These ASi gateways are available in various versions with IP20 protection rating.

Data decoupling integrated in the gateway. Optimized for use with 2 x UL certified 30 V/3 A power supplies with power limitation <100 W (BW4223). In combination 2 separate NEC Class 2 compliant ASi circuits are created.
1 ASi power supply per ASi network. Gateway is powered in normal operation from one of the two ASi power supplies. Should one ASi power supply fail, switching to the other ASi power supply allows all the diagnostics functions to be maintained and the unaffected ASi network continues to operate.

CANopen Master Simulator
The CANopen Master Simulator is a simple, universal tool for exchanging data with CANopen devices from virtually any manufacturer without a CANopen master, by just using a PC and the delivered hardware. Input data can be read and output data written without any additional entries or files.
In addition, the CANopen Master Simulator can be used of course to read and write special objects. It is also possible to search a complete CANopen line for any connected devices. The digital I/O data are represented in hex and binary as well as ASCII characters. Analog I/O data are represented in decimal. Output data can be sent consistently.
Included with the CANopen Master Simulator package is the CAN dongle. The CAN dongle is the ideal interface converter between the USB port on the PC and CANopen. The dongle is very compact and is powered by the USB port on the PC. This also makes it ideal for portable use with a laptop or notebook.
