Gateways with SafeLink also network your safety technology directly over the fieldbus interface!
The ASi Safety Gateways from Bihl+Wiedemann with SafeLink make it possible for you to network multiple safe ASi networks with each other in a highly efficient manner. The exchange of safe information takes place not only over the Ethernet diagnostics interface as do the ASi Safety Gateways for PROFIBUS , but rather directly over the fieldbus interface for PROFINET or EtherNet/IP , assuming the higher level fieldbus is already using an industrial Ethernet derivative. When using the ASi Safety Gateways you can freely choose which interface to run SafeLink through.
