AS-i Busabschluss

Profit from the variety of ways to extend AS-i cable runs to 1000 m for example. Use the AS-i Bus Termination, AS-i Tuner and AS-i Repeaters to extend the range of the AS-i network flexibly and cost-effectively.

Splitting into several Segments

  • Dividing the AS-i cable into multiple 100 m networks with their own Master and own power supply or by using double masters
  • Short AS-i cables minimize interference susceptibility
  • Retains all the advantages of a 100 m AS-i network
  • Not possible without an upper bus system

Refreshing the signal using AS-i Repeaters

  • Extending the AS-i cable by up to 100 m using AS-i repeaters
  • Heavily saturated EMC areas can then be bridged
  • AS-i repeater causes a slight time delay in each telegram

Reflection signal attenuation using the AS-i Bus Termination

  • Very simple and cost-effective solutions using AS-i Bus Termination
  • Possible network extension by up to 100 m
  • AS-i network should be checked at commissioning using the Software for Diagnostics, Service and Release Measurements (BW2902)

AS-i Tuner and AS-i Diagnostic Tuner

  • Extending the AS-i cable by 200 m using the AS-i Tuner or AS-i Diagnostics Tuner
  • Individual optimization of the network impedance
  • Optical display of the network signal quality: continuous monitoring
