Bihl+Wiedemann offers you many ways to implement safe speed monitoring. The Safety Basic Monitor (BWU2700, BWU2852) is especially useful for speed monitoring using sensors.

Safety Basic Monitor in detail

  • Compact safety controller
  • Up to 4 2-channel safe inputs can be used as standard inputs and status outputs
  • Speed monitor on the local inputs:
    • up to 2 axis 2-channel, SIL2, PLd
    • up to 4 axis 1-channel, SIL1, PLc
  • Standstill monitor on the local inputs:
    • up to 4 axis 2-channel, SIL2, PLd
  • 2 safe electronic outputs onboard
  • USB or Ethernet interface for configuration
  • Detailed diagnostics and switch-off history via software
  • LEDs for on-site diagnostics
  • Chip card for easy device exchange
