Control 24 V DC motors using AS-i Motor Modules

In addition to the current motor control modules, which are designed for very specific motor manufacturers, Bihl+Wiedemann now offers AS-i Motor Modules (BWU3551, BWU3501) that allow simple generic 24 V DC motors to be controlled. They control the movement of the motor/actuator in forward or reverse by aplying the appropiate voltage and are especially suitable for use in material handling. Additionally they can be used in building automation for controlling chain drives such as found in skylights and rooflight domes.

  • Allows even heavy loads to be moved and held directly with 24 V DC motor
