What is PROFIsafe?

PROFIsafe is a safety profile for transmitting safety-critical data over PROFINET or PROFIBUS. PROFIsafe meets the highest safety requirements of SIL3, thereby enabling safe communication in the process and manufacturing sectors.

PROFIsafe Products

ASi-5/ASi-3 Gateways PROFIsafe over PROFINET or PROFIsafe over PROFIBUS provide an interface for a PROFIBUS or PROFINET fieldbus. These ASi gateways are available in various versions with IP20 protection rating.
