BWU3064ASi Safety I/O Module, IP67, M12, 2SI/4SO/6I

Product description

ASi Safety I/O Module in IP67, with 8 x M12 sockets, 2 x 2 channels safe inputs (SIL 3, cat. 4) for floating contacts or OSSDs, 4 release circuits (4 x electronic safe outputs), 2-6 digital inputs (depending on configuration), input voltage/sensor supply out of AUX, output voltage/actuator supply out of AUX, periphery connection via 8 x M12 sockets, 5 poles, without limitation of connector cable length (loop resistance 150 Ohm), ASi connection via profile cable and piercing technology, ASi addresses depending on configuration

The substructure module is not included in the scope of delivery.

Technical data

Inputs Safety, SIL 3, Cat. 4

Safe inputs can be configured as 1-channel or 2-channels depending on the desired application or PL and SIL level.

2 x 2 channels
Safety signal inputs OSSDs, floating contacts
Outputs Safety, SIL 3, cat. 4 4 release circuits, 4 x electronic safe outputs
Safety signal outputs electronic safe outputs
Input voltage (sensor supply)

inputs are supplied by ASi or by AUX (24 V or 48 V auxiliary power). If supplied by ASi, inputs shall not be connected to earth or to external potential.

out of AUX
Output voltage (actuator supply)

Electronic outputs are supplied by ASi or by AUX (24 V or 48 V auxiliary power). If supplied by ASi, outputs shall not be connected to earth or to external potential.

For relay outputs the relay contacts are initiated from ASi. The load circuit is powered externally as specified in the data sheet.

ASi address

Bihl+Wiedemann offers modules with AB address, single address or ASi-5 address. In some cases, ASi modules can occupy several (different) addresses. Mixed operation of modules with different addressing in the same ASi circuit is permitted.
For ASi modules with two ASi-3 nodes, the second ASi-3 node is turned off as long as the first ASi-3 node is addressed to address "0".
Upon request, ASi modules are available with specific ASi node profiles.
